Their innovative programs, such as the Pain Treatment Center and the Pediatric Pain Rehabilitation Center, employ advanced techniques like patient-controlled analgesia, cognitive behavioral therapy, and physical rehabilitation to improve patient outcomes.
Ongoing research efforts focus on developing new analgesics, understanding the genetic basis of pain, and utilizing brain imaging to enhance treatment strategies, solidifying the hospital’s position at the forefront of pediatric pain care.
